Three suspected cases of fraudulent recruitment practices involving possible human trafficking cases had been submitted to Maldives Police Services by Maldives Immigration.
Detail information of suspected syndicates involved in these criminal activities has also been shared to the Police. Furthermore, Immigration has penalized the suspected offenders for Immigration violations.
With the newly submitted cases, the number of cases submitted to Police by Immigration on fraudulent recruitment and suspected human trafficking now add up to twenty-seven.
