Maldives Border Miles, the world’s first nationwide loyalty program announces the opportunity to become its partners. Registered tourist facilities and other business entities that provide tourism related services are welcome to enroll as a partner of the program from 17th November 2020 onwards.

Maldives Border Miles is a three-tiered loyalty program designed to attract tourists in order to promote and increase the popularity of the Maldives. This program is initiated by the Maldives Immigration, in collaboration with Ministry of Tourism, Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL). Maldives Border Miles will be officially launched on January 2021.
Tourists who enroll in this program will earn points based on the number of visits, duration of stay and visits on special occasions. Points will also be rewarded for the predefined services obtained from the partners of Maldives Border Miles and for the visits during off season (01st June to 31st August).
Eligible criteria for membership
Travelers traveling to Maldives for the purpose of tourism can enroll as a member of Maldives Border Miles. However, points will be rewarded if they stay at least 3 nights in a registered tourist facility.
Enrolling as a member
Only tourists are eligible to become a member of the Maldives Border Miles program. Tourists can register and become a member of the program while submiting the Traveler Health Declaration (THD). THD is a mandatory requirement from all travelers travelling to and from Maldives.
Earning points
Visiting Maldives or crossing the border makes the tourist earn the maximum number of points from a single activity.
If the tourist wishes to earn bonus points, they shall plan trips to Maldives to celebrate their special occasions. They will earn extra points if they come to celebrate their honeymoon, wedding anniversaries or birthdays.
Earning extra points
Trips on local occasions; like during Eid holidays, will reward them spare points. This will also be extended to predefined events during each year. Also, for each night spent in Maldives.
Earning points from our partners
Points will also be rewarded if the tourist obtains services like surfing, diving, island hopping or watersports from the partners of Maldives Border Miles.

After enrolling as a member, tourists can login to their border miles account, to view the updates of their points tally and their loyalty status.
