Streamlined Passport Collection Process
To facilitate a smoother and more efficient process for passport collection following work visa issuance, Maldives Immigration has introduced a new system utilizing the ‘Ant Queue’ application. This change is designed to minimize physical waiting times and improve the overall experience for applicants.
Passport Collection Schedule:
For 5 or fewer passports:
– Token Issuance Time: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
– Service Time: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
For 6 or more passports:
– Token Issuance Time: 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM
– Service Time: 1:15 PM to 3:00 PM
How to Use the ‘Ant Queue’ Application
1. Download and Open the App:
– Ensure you have the ‘Ant Queue’ application installed on your device.
– Select “Maldives Immigration” from the service options.
2. Select Visa Service:
– Choose the appropriate visa service category.
3. Token Issuance:
– For those collecting 5 or fewer passports, request your token between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM.
– For those collecting 6 or more passports, request your token between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM.
4. Enter Required Information:
– Refer to your submission receipt to enter the PPH number and box number.
– Upload a photo or file of the submission receipt.
– You can include multiple PPH or box numbers if needed.
5. Notification:
– Once your token is served at the counter, you will receive a notification via the application.
