In line with President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s vision to expand immigration services in Ha. Atoll, an official agreement has been signed today between Maldives Immigration and MTCC to construct a new immigration office in Ha. Uligan. This office will provide immigration clearance for passengers and crew members of foreign vessels arriving in the Maldives as part of the international bunkering service launched in Ha. Atoll.
Currently, only seaport services are available in Uligan, with two immigration officers stationed on-site. The new building will enable the provision of additional immigration services, such as passport and visa processing, making services more accessible and convenient. This development will further enhance and expand immigration services in Ha. Atoll.
