Tourist Visa
On Arrival

-   A passport or travel document with a Machine-Readable Zone (MRZ) and at least 1 month's validity. (Passengers with an extended validity in their passports are not allowed to enter.)

-   A complete travel itinerary, including confirmed return journey tickets, a prepaid confirmed booking at a registered facility, and sufficient funds to cover the stay in the Maldives, or hold a sponsorship approved by Maldives Immigration.

-   Meet the entry requirements of their next destination, including any visa or passport validity requirements.

-  All foreigners arriving in the Maldives must complete and submit the ‘Traveller Declaration’  within 96 hours before arrival.

-   Present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate if arriving from, or having recently travelled through a country with risk of Yellow Fever transmission. Children under one year of age are exempt.

1. Visit: IMUGA portal (imuga.immigration.gov.mv)
2. Complete and submit the 'Traveller Declaration' form up to 96 hours (4 days) before arrival
3. Submit the form electronically (submission is free of charge)
4. Present completed declaration at immigration upon arrival

Note: Each traveller, including children and minors, must submit an individual Traveller Declaration to enter the Maldives.

• Children/minors must have their own passport to enter the Maldives.
• Transit travellers are defined as those travelling to another country via Maldives, without Immigration clearance.
• A complete travel itinerary does not guarantee entry to Maldives. Entry will be granted at the port of entry after determination of admissibility by Immigration officers, as per Section 7 and 8 of The Maldives Immigration Act 2007
• Effective from 15th April 2025, entry to the Maldives will not be granted on Israeli passports
